John Adams

John is a partner in our Salt Lake office.

If he isn’t passing a CFO or Family Business Consulting project, he is passing tax return to a senior accountant or he is probably handing off a 401(k) assignment to the employee benefit department. His influence at Cook Martin Poulson is felt in a variety of ways. As a licensed attorney with a Masters of Accounting degree, his expanded vision of the business field makes him a great advocate for our clients.

If John tells you he will get something done, it gets done. His ability to keep commitments and build genuine relationships with his clients and co-workers makes him a great member of our team.

Outside the office you’ll probably find John on one of the local golf courses or at a family gathering spending time with his wife and three kids.

John has worked in the Salt Lake office for 10 years as the daily operations manager and works with tax pensions and consulting. John had practiced law before accounting but has found working with clients doing accounting much more enjoyable on a daily basis. The people John gets to work with is the best part of his job. Helping clients grow and succeed is what he has enjoyed most.
