Sales Tax rates are going up in the State of Utah effective April 1, 2019.
As a result of the Utah voter approved Proposition 3, the statewide sales tax rate will be raised from 4.7 to 4.85 percent.

Matt Jensen is a CPA in the Logan office of Cook Martin Poulson, P.C. Matt is a Cache Valley native and earned both is bachelors and masters decree in accounting from Utah State University. He has been with Cook Martin Poulson, P.C. since 2015 and works in bookkeeping, payroll taxation, business valuations, as well as individual and business taxation. Matt is passionate about meeting with individuals and businesses to strategize ways to keep every dollar they earn.

When Matt is not helping his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. As a family they enjoy playing sports, games, and just spending time together. Matt enjoys playing and watching almost all sports, camping, hiking, farming, and reading.
